I see childbirth and labor as a social justice issue connected to healthcare, economic class, race, sexuality, and food justice. Thus, supporting women and families in labor is central to my role as an active community member. I completed my doula training at Ancient Song Doula Services and currently volunteer my services as a provisional doula to those in need, with a focus on women of color and their partners, queer-identified people, and low-income families. I offer in-person doula services throughout Chicago and Evanston, IL, but I am happy to talk to anyone anywhere who would like my support. If you’re interested in any of these services please go to contact me and drop me a line.
